Police release CCTV image after Cambridge taxi driver injured during assault

A taxi driver in Cambridge suffered minor injuries during an assault in Cambridge city centre prompting an investigation from police.


CCTV images of a man Cambridge Constabulary wish to speak to have now been released.

A police spokesperson said via social media: “We want to speak to him in connection with an assault on a taxi driver in Cambridge.

“The incident took place at just after 7pm on 25 November after the taxi driver, a man in his 40s, picked up two men from Gunhild Close.

“During the journey he was attacked by one of the men in Robinson Way and suffered minor injuries.
