Police release CCTV image after Milton Keynes knifepoint taxi driver robbery
Thames Valley Police have circulated a photograph of an individual they wish to interview in connection with an attempted robbery in Milton Keynes.
The incident occurred approximately at 3.30pm on Monday 29 January, when a man boarded a taxi on Bradwell Common Boulevard, Bradwell Common. During the trip, he brandished a knife and demanded money from the taxi driver. In response, the driver stopped the vehicle at the roadside and exited the car.
Subsequently, the suspect also left the taxi and departed the scene on foot. Fortunately, no items were taken and there were no injuries reported.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Patricia Montoya, based at Milton Keynes police station, said: “I am appealing to anybody who recognises the man in this image to please get in touch with us as we believe he may have vital information about this incident.
