Police release footage of Walsall taxi driver assault as they try to find woman

West Midlands Police - Walsall, have released CCTV footage of a woman they would like to speak to following an assault on a man at a taxi rank.


Officers want to speak to her as part of their ongoing investigation into the assault which took place on Ablewell Street, Walsall.

A spokesperson for the force said: “We understand there was a disagreement over payment at around 4am on Monday 31 August, when a woman shouted racist abuse at people working at the taxi rank.


“One of the drivers tried to intervene, when the woman assaulted him.

“If you recognise her, or have any information, please contact us via live chat on our website or by calling 101.
