Police release image of Preston taxi to help find driver who may be a key witness

Lancashire Constabulary are searching for a Preston taxi driver who may be an important witness.
Officers released an image of the black cab and urged the driver to contact the police to help with their investigations. The appeal relates to a journey made on Saturday 3 December to an address in Whitestake, just outside of Preston.
A Lancashire Constabulary spokesperson said: “We need to trace a taxi driver who could be a witness in an investigation we are conducting.
“A man was transported home by taxi from Preston city centre to an address in White Moss Close, Whitestake, near Preston, in the early hours of Saturday, December 3.
“We are looking to trace the driver merely as a witness and we think the vehicle in the picture is the taxi used.
