An old taxi vehicle parked outside a Birmingham Mosque has been CRUSHED after reports of drug use and antisocial behaviour.

Officers from West Midland Police attended the Green Lane Masjid in Small Heath after concerns were passed on from the local community.

Birmingham’s East Neighbourhood Task Force (NTF) shared images of the 2009 Peugeot E7 taxi parked up. Pictures from inside the cab showed clear signs of drug use.

The vehicle has since been removed from the road and crushed.

A Birmingham East NTF spokesperson said via social media: “Team 2. Addressed community concerns of vehicle being used for drug taking and anti social behaviour outside Green Lane Masjid, Small Heath. Car is being recovered and will be crushed.”
