Police report black cab driver for watching YouTube while driving on M4 motorway

A black cab driver has been reported to authorities after being spotted watching YouTube videos on his mobile phone while travelling on the M4 motorway.

The incident came to light on a particularly wet morning when heavy rain and poor visibility made driving conditions challenging for motorists in the area.

The Metropolitan Police Specials, responsible for monitoring road safety and traffic violations, posted about the incident on social media. The spokesperson said: “It’s turning out to be very wet morning for the #WestRPT car covering the M4. Lots of drivers warned for failing to use headlights in the poor visibility and pouring rain.

“A black cab driver has also been reported for watching YouTube on his phone whilst driving along the M4.”
