A popular Black Taxi vlogger had his taxi window SMASHED by a passenger in a fit of rage for not being able to find an open KEBAB SHOP in the Mayfair.

Tom Hutley, a London taxi driver and successful YouTuber with more than 40,000 subscribers, posted his latest video sharing an incident that many cabbies in the capital and across the UK have to endure regularly.

Hutley describes the incident which saw a drunk passenger smash his rear side taxi window with his fist. The act of rage was brought on by the man’s inability to get a kebab in London’s Mayfair area.

The cabbie spoke of the true cost to him financially totalling more than £1,000 in time and repairs.

Hutley, who has a book about his time on the Knowledge and recently progressed to Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Hackney Carriage Drivers, also shared how he cleared the damaged window from the icon taxi and how he sourced a new one.

The cabbie’s YouTube channel has been a massive hit with viewers ever since it first launched in March 2020. The London black cab driver and qualified taxi guide completed the ‘Knowledge of London’ in 2017 after 3 years of studying. Four years into the job he now has a fast-growing channel on YouTube and has recently launched his own blog.
