Sefton private hire driver arrested after FAILING roadside drugs test

A Sefton licensed private hire driver was arrested after failing a roadside drugs test suspected of being under the influence of cocaine.
Merseyside Police officers arrested the 40-year-old driver on Saturday 16 April after being spotted driving erratically.
A Sefton Police spokesperson said: “Operation Pelican Officers yesterday arrested a 40-year-old male from the Waterloo area for Drug Drive.
“The vehicle was a Sefton private hire vehicle and was stopped after it was sighted driving erratically in the Waterloo area.
“The driver was arrested after failing a road side drugs wipe suspected to be under the influence of Cocaine.”
