Sherbet London reports record September as taxi fleet hits full utilisation after huge senior management shake-up

Sherbet London has reported a record September, with its taxi rental fleet reaching full utilisation, more than 800 advertising-wrapped cabs operating across the capital and garage revenues rising 20% year-on-year.
The figures were disclosed by Sherbet’s Chief Operating Officer, Michael Eades, who said the performance came despite September traditionally presenting operational challenges as London emerges from the summer holiday period.
Eades said Sherbet’s rental fleet was “fully utilised”, representing its highest level during 2026. The company also recorded more than 800 taxis carrying advertising campaigns and working across London’s streets during the month, which it described as another record.
Garage operations also delivered growth, with revenue reported to be 20% higher than in September 2025. Sherbet has expanded its garage presence with a West London Taxi Centre in Brentford alongside its existing operations, providing servicing, MOT and repair facilities for London taxi drivers.
Eades credited Sherbet’s operations team for the September performance, saying: “These numbers don’t happen by accident.” He added that the results came from “late nights, early mornings, attention to detail and a team that simply gets on with the job.”
The strong trading update comes shortly after significant changes to the senior management and director structure of the London taxi business. Companies House records show Sherbet London Taxis Limited founder Asher Moses ceased to be a director on 27 July 2026, having served on the board since the company was incorporated in September 2013. Jacob Moses also left the board on the same date.
Gurpreet Kaur Bhogal was appointed as a director on 27 July, while Michael Eades joined the board on 5 August. Companies House currently lists Bhogal and Eades as the two active directors of Sherbet London Taxis Limited.
The precise nature and wider implications of the management restructure have not been publicly detailed. TaxiPoint has approached Sherbet for comment.
The changes represent a notable shift for a business closely associated with Moses since its formation. Sherbet’s activities span taxi rental, electric taxis, advertising and media, garage services and related operations within London’s licensed taxi market.
