The vehicle was located after a member of the public alerted officers during a routine patrol. Photos shared on social media show the car partially covered, awaiting recovery.

The swift action highlights the value of public vigilance and police presence in identifying stolen vehicles. South Yardley officers confirmed the incident via their social media channels, thanking the public for their assistance.

The investigation into the theft remains ongoing. Authorities urge anyone with information about stolen vehicles to report it promptly.

A West Midlands Police South Yardley spokesperson said on social media: “Patrolling the patch this morning ... when a member of the public has made us aware of this stolen vehicle.”
