Taxi driver assault and fraud sparks Police Scotland appeal


Police Scotland have released an image of a man they want to trace following an assault on a taxi driver and an act of fraud in Johnston.


The incident occurred on Thursday 11 April, 2019, in the early hours of the morning in Spateston Road, near to Hallhill Road, Johnstone.

The man in the image is described as 5ft 8 inches in height, average build with short brown hair and a local accent.


Anyone with information is asked to contact Renfrew Police Office via 101 quoting KB01430419 or CRIMESTOPPERS 0800 555 111, where information can be given in confidence.
