Taxi firm CityFleet Networks win ‘Exceptional Contribution Award’ at 2021 Fleet News Awards
CityFleet Networks has won the ‘Exceptional Contribution Award’ at the 2021 Fleet News Awards.
The Fleet News Awards were held on Tuesday 6 July at Ascot Racecourse to ensure celebrations could take place in a safe and secure environment. In what attendees described as a ‘terrific turnout’, approximately 900 people, all socially distanced, attended the event.
Taxi firm ComCab London, a part of the CityFleet Networks, won a headline award for ‘Exceptional Contribution’. The award was a new category in recognising the fleet response to the COVID-19 crisis.
The Fleet News Award judges said: “CityFleet Networks has gone above and beyond to protect and meet the needs of vulnerable people, key workers and the NHS during the COVID pandemic. Protection of its own staff was a priority, while the business also supported other fleet operators with cleaning services and worked alongside several charities to deliver food to the homeless. It stepped up to the plate during this challenging time.”
