TfL helping police investigate alleged “lewd and unacceptable act” in London minicab

Transport for London (TfL) are helping police with an investigation after a private hire driver was allegedly caught masturbating in broad daylight.

One shocked resident and onlooker, David Rodriguez, posted footage on Monday morning showing the driver of a black Toyota Prius minicab on social media. He also claimed the act was witnessed by neighbours.

During the footage shared, which is too graphic to appear on TaxiPoint, a Transport for London roundel in the windscreen of the vehicle is visible.

Helen Chapman, TfL’s Director of Licensing, Regulation and Charging, told TaxiPoint: “We are aware of a video circulating on social media, which appears to show a lewd and unacceptable act being carried out in a car.

“We are helping the police with their investigation into the alleged incident and will take the appropriate licensing action when the police investigation has concluded.”
