Tours of Coventry's new Urban FLYING TAXI Airport have now been launched by the council
Locals from Coventry can now book a tour to take a look around the city's all new Urban Air Port, designed for the launch of electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing flying taxis.
A spokesperson for the council, said: "You can now book a tour of Coventry's ground breaking Urban Air Port.
"The tour will give you a closer look at this innovative facility and will showcase how Coventry is once again at the forefront of transport innovation."
UK start-up Urban-Air Port had previously announced a partnership with the Urban Air Mobility Division of Hyundai Motor Group to develop the blueprint and foundations for Urban Air Mobility infrastructure to meet the growing demand for autonomous airborne drones and eVTOL passenger vehicles.
The company said the goal is to meet the growing demand for eVTOL passenger vehicles by providing the essential infrastructure to unlock clean urban air mobility worldwide.
The partnership formed a key part of Urban-Air Port’s broader plan to build 200 sites globally in the next five years.
