Two men arrested after alleged Milton Keynes screwdriver attack on taxi driver



Two men have been arrested after allegedly threatening a taxi driver with a screwdriver and damaging his vehicle.


On 7 March between 9-9.30pm a taxi driver was driving along the V8 Marlborough Street near Peartree Bridge, when he was forced to emergency stop behind a small black Seat car.

Two people got out of the Seat and approached the taxi with screwdrivers, scratching the windscreen and opening the passenger door and threatening the driver.

No one was injured during the incident.

A 22-year-old man and a 26-year-old man from Milton Keynes have since been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage, possession of an offensive weapon and a public order offence.


The two men have been released under investigation.
