Two men die and two other people taken to hospital after Kent crash involving taxi
Investigators are appealing for witnesses after two men died in a collision in Northfleet.
The incident happened at around 12.15am on 17 September, between Springhead Road and the A2260.
Two men, aged in their 20s and 30s, who were travelling in a silver Audi A3 were involved in a collision with a black Citroen dispatch taxi.
The passenger inside the Audi was declared deceased at the scene while the driver was taken to a London hospital where he later died.
A woman inside the taxi was also taken to a London hospital via air ambulance where she remains in a serious condition. Her injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
The driver of the taxi was taken to local hospital as a precaution.
Officers from Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit are appealing for witnesses and would like to talk to anyone who saw either vehicle in the moments before the collision. Motorists with dashcam footage are also being sought.
The next of kin of the two deceased men have been made aware.
