TYRE MARKS: Met Police reviewing CCTV after concerns over dangerous and antisocial behaviour

An image shared by police on social media has shown tyre marks across a south London zebra crossing leading to concerns about dangerous driving and antisocial behavior in the area.


Sergeant Watson, who works with the Metropolitan Police Lambeth, has confirmed via social media that they are aware of the incident that took place last night in Belvedere Road. He has also stated that they are investigating the matter and reviewing CCTV footage in order to identify those responsible for this act of recklessness.

The incident has raised alarm bells among members of the community who are now demanding stricter action against such dangerous driving. Many have taken to social media to express their anger and frustration at such behaviour and have called for the authorities to take swift action to prevent further instances of this kind.

Sergeant Watson, Metropolitan Police Lambeth, said via social media: "We are aware of an incident last night in Belvedere Road, SE1 that involved dangerous driving and antisocial behaviour.


“We will continue to investigate this matter & are currently reviewing CCTV from the area in order to identify those responsible.”
