Unlicensed driver of London minicab chased and caught by police officers recovering drugs

Police officers chased and caught an unlicensed driver of a London private hire vehicle to recover drugs in west London today.
The vehicle, a black Mercedes displaying a private hire vehicle roundel in the rear window, failed to stop for police in Ealing.
The driver exited the minicab and was chased by officers. Upon being caught, police officers recovered drugs from the driver.
The unlicensed driver was charged and remanded to court.
Officers from the Met Police Roads and Transport Policing Command said: “This Mercedes failed to stop for #Raptor21 in Ealing. The unlicensed driver was caught after a foot chase and drugs recovered. The driver has been charged with a number of offences and remanded to court.
