New York Police Department have released footage of an incident which saw a woman wearing an orange wig casually walk up to a yellow taxi carrying a cinder block, using it to smash the vehicle's window before climbing in and stealing property.
The woman then runs off carrying the item, before removing the orange wig and dumping it into her handbag.
The woman is now wanted for Criminal Mischief. A tweet, showing the footage of the incident has been posted by the New York Police Department, where a spokesperson for the force, said: "Wanted for criminal mischief. On 3/24/22 at approx 10:00 AM, on West 37 At between 9th Ave & 10th AVE in Manhattan.
"The suspect approached the victim's unoccupied vehicle, broke the window with a cinder block, then removed property. Any info?"
