What a mess! Police slam lorry driver for the dangerous state of cabin

A lorry driver has been pulled up and criticised by the police for leaving the cabin of his vehicle in such a mess that the content was obscuring the view out the windows, putting other road users and pedestrians at risk of serious injury or even death.

Pictures released by Hampshire Roads Policing team, show the lorry's cabin area completely filled with containers, food packaging, clothes and electronic devices, in what has been likened to a junkyard by Twitter users.

Hampshire Police wrote: "Is this the disciplined and organised office of a top of his game professional lorry driver? No. It's a blocked field of critical view likely to hide and kill a pedestrian or cyclist."

TaxiPoint have approached the Roads Policing team for comment on what actions they have taken with the driver.
