Wiltshire taxi seized after police discover driver DISQUALIFIED to drive
A Wiltshire taxi has been seized after police checks discovered the driver was shockingly disqualified from driving.
Officers performed checks on a licensed Vauxhall Zafira in the Larkhill area near Stone Hedge on Saturday 4 February.
The checks performed revealed the driver to have been disqualified from driving. The driver now faces being reported to court.
A Wiltshere Specialist Operations spokesperson said: “Road Policing Unit are seizing this taxi from Larkhill after checks revealed the driver is disqualified from driving. To think they charge the public to drive them around! Well not any more, vehicle seized and driver reported to court.”
