Wolverhampton Private Hire Vehicle suspended for Safety Violation in Liverpool

A Wolverhampton licensed Private Hire Vehicle (PHV) was suspended after being found with malfunctioning brake lights in Liverpool.

The City of Wolverhampton Public Protection Department has emphasised the importance of daily vehicle checks to ensure road safety and compliance with licensing conditions.

According to a spokesperson from the City of Wolverhampton Public Protection Department, the incident occurred last night when local Merseyside Police authorities discovered that the PHV's brake lights were not functioning properly.

A spokesperson said via social media: “Private Hire Vehicle suspended for having no working brake lights in Liverpool last night. Remember, carry out daily checks to ensure that you monitor and maintain the safety of your vehicle and compliance with licence conditions.”
