Covent Garden taxi accident not terror related

Police were today called to a taxi collision involving pedestrians in the Covent Garden area of London.

The Metropolitan Police have said it is "Not thought to be terrorist related".

Unconfirmed reports suggest the taxi struck several people after mounting the curb on Southampton Street. One report suggests that a pedestrian remains trapped under the vehicle.
