British drone capable of Heathrow to Charing Cross in 12 minutes

A British company called Autonomous Flight are creating the UK’s first driverless passenger drone which will be able to travel between Heathrow and Charing Cross in just 12 minutes.  The start-up founded by Martin Warner has built an autonomous drone called the Y6S and is due to be tested with passengers onboard later this year.   

The Y6S is capable of vertical take-offs and landings. Drones are being tipped as the next must have transportation vehicle with costs of £20,000 for a mid range aircraft being predicted.
