London: Weekly Traffic Update
Kingston Until 2 February, there will be various lane restrictions in place on Wood Street. From 22 January, on A307 Wheatfield Way at the junction of College Roundabout (Kingston) there will be various lane closures and restrictions in place. Daytime works will take place between 09:30 and 14:00, and overnight works will take place between 20:00 and 06:00. This is for utility work. Chelsea Embankment Until 11:00 on 1 April, Chelsea embankment westbound between Chelsea bridge road and Battersea Bridge will be closed. A diversion via Chelsea bridge road, Lower Sloane Street and Sloane Street is in place. Brixton Road Until 5 March there will be various lane restrictions on Brixton Road. Hillyard Street and Normandy are closed at the junction with Brixton Road until 3 February. Prima Road will be closed until 5 March. This is for utility works. Marylebone Road Until late May 2018, one lane in each direction will be closed along Marylebone Road, between the junctions with Balcombe Street and Baker Street. This is due to the second phase of works to convert Baker Street and Gloucester Place to two way traffic. Tower Hill Until late summer 2018, one lane in the westbound direction on Tower Hill will be closed between 08:00 and 18:00 on the approach to the junction with Trinity Square. This is due to works to reinstate the left turn into Trinity Square. Access to Blackwall Tunnel bus lanes for taxis Taxis can use the southbound Blackwall Tunnel bus lane between 21:00 and 05:00. Taxis cannot use the northbound Blackwall Tunnel bus lane. Charing Cross Station The forecourt will be closed to all vehicles between 07:00 and 16:00 on Sunday 21 January.

This is due to the crowds and road closures for the Lumiere London Festival
Goodsway will be closed, taxis wishing to use the Pancras Road (King’s Cross Station) taxi rank can access this and exit via Euston Road only
A temporary rank will be available on Piccadilly opposite Duke Street/St James’s.
