Coventry taxis hailed as the most expensive in UK
In a UK based study Coventry is the most expensive city in the UK to travel by taxi.
Coventry taxis boast an average cost of £3.11 per mile. This is a bizarre twist of fate given that Coventry is the home of taxi manufacturer LEVC.
London came in as the fifth most expensive city with an average cost bast on journeys of between one and five miles at £2.99.
