Private hire driver dies after attack at Manchester airport

A private hire driver who worked for A-Line Taxis, has died following an assault at Manchester airport. 

The victim, a Mr William Brent Taylor was said to be waiting to collect passengers when an altercation started. According to a report in the Manchester Evening News , Mr Taylor suffered a heart attack.  Police were called to an incident near terminal 2 at around 8:25am on Friday morning after reports came through that a man was being attacked. Mr Taylor , 57, was taken by ambulance to hospital where he later died. Greater Manchester Police have now launched an investigation and are appealing for any witnesses - or anyone with any information - to come forward. Two men have been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter and remain in custody. Anyone with any information is asked to call police on 0161 856 0250, quoting reference number 455 of April 6.
