Chauffeur dies behind the wheel amid poison fears

A chauffeur has been found dead behind the wheel of his vehicle prompting fears that he may have been poisoned.

The unamed driver was found slumped inside his vehicle outside a club in Albermarle Street, Mayfair at 3.15pm on June 21st.

A specialist police unit was rushed to the scene amid fears that he may have been the victim of a poison attack.

It was later confirmed by the London Ambulance Service that the driver had been pronounced dead at the scene, with the cause of death believed to be a cardiac arrest.
