CS11 could be revived as TfL look to build Camden section of cycle route.

The seemingly "dead-in-the-water" CS11 could be revived after Transport for London said it will build the Camden section of the cycle superhighway.
TfL announced that the cycle route, which was initially supposed to run between Brent Cross to the West End would be built in conjunction with the assistance of Camden Council, and includes the Swiss Cottage gyratory system being re-developed.
The announcement comes just two weeks after TfL told the 100 Avenue Road working group that it may let lorries use the A41 to build the new block, the construction of which, could conflict with any work on the cycle route in Swiss Cottage.
TfL’s Nigel Hardy has said that TfL will try to reduce road danger and improve walking and cycling around Swiss Cottage, whilst Camden’s environment chief Cllr Adam Harrison has said that he wanrs to see the removal of the gyratory system, but until this happens it is vital road safety improvements are delivered.
