Mother and baby escape injury as Swarcliffe cab pelted with bricks by gang

Police are hunting a gang of youths who attacked a cab, pelting it with bricks, while a mother and baby were travelling in the vehicle.
Zulfakar Hussain, 40, was driving the mother and child to their home in Swarcliffe when the gang attacked his car.
The attack, which happened on Swarcliffe Avenue on March 21 left the woman and her child shaken after a missile thrown by the group narrowly missed them, smashing a window on the vehicle.

In a report by The Yorkshire Evening Post Mr Hussain, said: “It was a big shock and I could have easily lost control of the car. The baby was crying and the woman screamed."
