Staffordshire Police warn taxi drivers to be vigilant following arrest for theft

Staffordshire Police are warning taxi drivers to be vigilant after a woman was arrested for theft. The female suspect allegedly stole from a taxi driver on 30 June, a day after being bailed for similar offences.
Police officials in the areas have warned cabbies to remain on their guard for similar future incidents. The woman is due to appear in court today following the latest alleged taxi theft.
A spokesperson from Staffordshire Police said on Facebook: "A female has tonight been arrested for theft from a taxi driver after being bailed from court only yesterday for similar offences. "She will again appear in court where her remand into custody will sought. Timely reminder to taxi drivers to be vigilant."Â
