Cabbie seriously hurt after crash near caravan park

A black taxi driver has been seriously injured after a crash close to a caravan park in Sutton on Sea on Wednesday morning.

Emergency services were called to the scene and an air ambulance deployed close to Lakeside caravan park on Alford Road after the crash, which occured just after 11am on Wednesday 10 July.

The taxi driver, who was the only occupant in his vehicle, is being treated at Queens Medical Centre.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police took to social media to say: "We are appealing for witnesses following the serious collision at 11.08am, 10 July, in Alford Road, Sutton on Sea, where the driver of a black taxi was seriously injured.

“Please contact us on 101 quoting incident 127.”
