Teenager injured after collision with taxi in Coventry

A teenager has been injured after being involved in a collision with a taxi in Coventry.

The incident, which took place in the early hours of Sunday morning, left the 17 year old with minor injuries.

Coventry Live reported that police were called to attend the accident at just after 12:15am, close to the junction of London Road and Abbey Road in Willenhall after reports of a car in collision with a teenage boy.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson stated that the boy did not suffer life-threatening or life-changing injuries.

Anyone with information is asked to contact West Midlands Police on 101 quoting incident number 65 of 21 July.
