Police believe driver may have committed other offences

It has emerged that a Liverpool private hire driver has tested positive for cocaine after being stopped by police.
The private hire vehicle was stopped by Merseyside's Road Policing Unit at around 11.30am on Tuesday, 24 September.
It is understood that not only was a drug offence involved, but a number of other offences may have been committed by the unnamed driver.
The unit took to Twitter to say: "we've already done a lot of work with licensed drivers but clearly there is still more to be done!
"This driver tested positive for cocaine but that could be the least of his problems with several other offences committed too."
The unit received support from members of the public, with @Alungreen4 and @Vikkismith3 both saying on Twitter: "Well done @MerPolTraffic another idiot of our roads."
Another supportive comment came via Twitter where @Normancorke said: " Well done, congratulations, should lose his licence when tested like that, scary."
There has been no indication as yet as to what other offences may have been committed.
