76-year-old man charged after taxi collides with child in Edinburgh



A 76-year-old man has been charged after a four-year-old boy was involved in a collision with a taxi in Edinburgh.


The incident took place on Tuesday 15 April on South Gyle Broadway, near Burne Cruick.

Police Scotland confirmed the charge in a short statement and said a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.


No further details about the child’s condition or the circumstances of the incident have been released.


Enquiries into the matter remain ongoing.
