Veezu, one of the UK's leading private hire technology firms, has announced the rebranding of three of its regional hubs - A2B Radio Cars, Go Carz, and Dragon Taxis - to operate under the Veezu name.

The rebranding initiative aligns with the company's efforts in Sheffield with City Taxis in September 2023 and V Cars in the South West in 2022, tying in its Midlands and South Wales operations under the group's overarching brand name.

Veezu has established itself as one of the fastest-growing private hire services in the UK, with more than 16,000 driver-partners facilitating an average of one ride every 1.5 seconds in 2023.

The rebranding affects hubs with long-standing community ties and histories. A2B Radio Cars, serving the Solihull area since 1991, joined the Veezu family in 2016. Go Carz, with over 25 years of operation in the West Midlands, was acquired by Veezu in 2020. Dragon Taxis, a staple in South Wales for over 30 years, became part of the Veezu group in 2015. These acquisitions and the subsequent rebranding reflect Veezu's strategy to consolidate its market presence.

Accompanying the rebranding is the launch of Veezu's most ambitious marketing campaign to date, titled 'Smarter Local Rides'. Targeting the Midlands and South Wales private hire vehicle (PHV) markets, the campaign aims to highlight the services and technological innovations that Veezu brings to the local transportation landscape.

Veezu CEO Nathan Bowles said: "I’m really excited to continue to roll out the Veezu name through the rebrands of these local hubs.

“This change brings with it efficiencies for our business and creates a consistent brand of choice for driver-partners, passengers, and business accounts.

“As our footprint continues to grow across the country, this name change is another step on our journey to providing smarter local rides to communities nationwide under the well-known Veezu name."
