Acorn Insurance has rolled out a refreshed brand identity, reinforcing its long-standing commitment to the UK’s taxi sector.
The insurer, known for its specialism in taxi motor cover, revealed its new logo, updated colour scheme, and revised digital branding today. Taxi drivers, who form a key part of the company’s customer base, remain central to Acorn’s future direction.
Despite the visual changes, existing policies and cover for drivers remain unaffected. The core taxi insurance products, shaped by over four decades of experience, continue unchanged.
The refreshed branding will now appear across Acorn’s website, mobile app, customer portals, and policy documents. A stronger digital presence aims to offer a more flexible and streamlined customer experience, while still catering to the specific needs of professional drivers.
Imagery used in the new look has been updated to reflect typical vehicles operating in modern UK settings, including licensed taxis. This is designed to represent the everyday role of drivers within their communities.
The brand update forms part of a broader plan by the wider Acorn Group to grow its presence across non-standard and specialist insurance markets, where the firm has built a reputation for tailored products and risk support.
Miruna Constantinescu, Customer and Marketing Director at Acorn Group, said: “Taxis have always been central to Acorn Insurance. This refresh is about more than just updating our visual identity – it’s about making sure our brand reflects the professionalism, trust, and flexibility taxi drivers expect from us. We’re proud of our track record in supporting taxi drivers, and this rebrand sets us up to serve them even better in the years ahead.”
