BBC radio host and TV presenter Jo Whiley has called on the help of the capital’s black taxi drivers after her car keys were left in the back of one of their iconic vehicles.
Using her official Twitter account to spread the word, Jo wrote: “*LONDON TAXI KLAXON*
“HELP!! I lost my car keys last Thursday. I can track them thru modern technology & they are constantly travelling back & forth from Eversholt St nr Euston. They have a massive silver tassel attached plus a fob that says “Queen for a Day”. I’d love them back.”
The fact that Jo has been able to track the movement of the keys back to Eversholt Street NW1, would suggest that the driver is a regular at the Euston Station taxi rank.
The keys, which have been missing since last Thursday, are likely to either be lodged down the side of one of the rear seats or have been found by the driver who is keeping them safe in the front cabin.
If a driver is aware of the location of the keys, they are being asked to contact Jo directly via her Twitter account.
