Cab My Ride has launched its on-demand transport services across London as part of a wider UK expansion strategy, while beginning a major recruitment campaign for licensed private hire drivers and operators across the capital.

The Hampshire-based transport operator and technology provider said the move marks one of the most significant developments in its growth, extending its presence beyond the South Coast where it has established operations serving airport transfers, cruise passengers, NHS transport, home-to-school services and corporate travel.

The company says it has built a network serving thousands of travellers, travel agents, businesses and public sector organisations across the UK. It currently manages thousands of airport and cruise transfer bookings each month through Heathrow, Gatwick, London City Airport and Southampton Port.

Arjan Sahota, Managing Director of Cab My Ride, said: “Our expansion into London represents one of the most important milestones in our company’s history.

“Over the last six years, we have built a trusted transport network supporting airport passengers, cruise travellers, NHS staff and patients, schools, businesses and travel partners. London provides a huge opportunity for both our business and the drivers and operators who choose to work with us.

“We have invested heavily in technology, support teams and partnerships to create a platform that helps drivers access additional work while providing passengers with a reliable and professional service.”

Unlike many ride-hailing platforms that concentrate on immediate local journeys, Cab My Ride said its initial London operation will prioritise international inbound travel, airport transfers, cruise connections, corporate transport and pre-booked journeys. The company intends to broaden its offering into the wider local market as its presence grows.

The business operates through a network of licensed private hire operators and drivers across the UK and says it has partnerships with NHS Trusts, Carnival UK, travel management companies and thousands of travel agents worldwide.

Supporting the expansion is the firm’s proprietary transport management platform, MyRide. The technology manages booking administration, vehicle dispatch, driver communications, compliance monitoring and customer journey tracking across its operations, forming the backbone of the company’s transport network.

Cab My Ride is now seeking to recruit licensed private hire drivers, fleet operators and transport businesses across Greater London. The company says those joining the platform will have access to airport, cruise, corporate and contract work, alongside weekly payments, competitive commission structures, UK-based support teams, flexible working arrangements and access to its booking and driver technology.
