Cabbidder has launched a new web application aimed at licensed Private Hire Operators and Hackney licensed drivers and vehicles, offering access to pre-booked journey requests through a real-time quoting system.
The web app allows licensed trade users to view incoming journey requests, submit quotes and manage vehicles and compliance documents. Cabbidder says onboarding is restricted to professionals holding valid private hire or hackney licences, insurance and supporting documentation.
Passengers submit journey details once through Cabbidder’s quote system and can receive multiple prices from licensed operators and taxi drivers. The company’s wider service promotes fixed-price transfers, airport journeys, long-distance trips and city travel across the UK.
The model is focused on pre-booked, pre-paid work rather than immediate street-hail activity. For operators and drivers, the main operational benefit is the chance to reduce empty return mileage after airport transfers or long-distance bookings.
The platform gives licensed operators and hackney drivers access to pre-booked, pre-paid journey requests without commission or subscription charges.
Cabbidder says the platform also allows drivers and operators to pick up work outside their immediate area, helping make better use of vehicles already moving between towns, cities and airports.
The company operates a no-commission model for trade users. Drivers and operators keep the full fare they quote, while Cabbidder charges a small service fee to the passenger.
Cabbidder has previously said its network includes more than 5,000 taxi drivers and private hire operators since launching in 2024.
For licensed drivers and operators, the launch adds another digital route into pre-booked work at a time when vehicle costs, dead mileage and competition for airport and long-distance bookings remain key trading pressures.
Matt Young, Founder of Cabbidder, said: “We’ve built Cabbidder to support the licensed trade. This is about helping operators access more work, reduce dead mileage and stay in control of their pricing — without giving away a percentage of their fares.”
