A motorist who says they swerved to avoid a fox has ended up toppling their vehicle onto its side.

According to Greater Manchester Police's Traffic Team, the Kia vehicle flipped on its side on Manchester Road, Bolton, near to the A666 exit.

On arrival, officers completed a roadside check on the driver and vehicle. Results showed that the driver was uninsured and only held a provisional licence.

"The driver stated he swerved to avoid a Fox! Well the fox is ok... As for the car... Maybe not.
