London-based taxi app Gett is set to run a one-day promotional event in East London, transforming a traditional black cab into a pop-up cocktail bar as part of a customer engagement campaign.

The activation, branded as the ‘Cocktail Cab’, will take place at Spitalfields Market on Wednesday 15 April from 1pm, offering free drinks, live music and ride credits to visitors.

The stationary cab installation will serve a selection of four drinks, including both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, while a separate roaming vehicle will distribute cocktails in Central London streets.

The event will also feature a live DJ set between 4pm and 8pm, targeting after-work footfall in the City and surrounding areas. Attendees who download the Gett app on the day will receive £20 in ride credit, with additional incentives available through social media engagement.

Andy Lencina Garcia, Marketing Director at Gett, says: "London's black cabs are an iconic part of the city and with Cocktail Cab, we're reimagining that experience in a way that's fun, social and distinctly Gett.

“Set against the backdrop of central London, this activation is all about bringing people together and creating meaningful connections with our riders, showcasing just how seamless it can be to move around the city with Gett."
