Liverpool City Council licensing officers and Merseyside Police carried out a joint enforcement operation targeting vehicles causing obstructions across Liverpool city centre during a busy weekend night-time period.
The operation took place on the evening of Saturday 7 March and continued into the early hours of Sunday morning, according to Liverpool City Council’s licensing team.
The council’s licensing unit said the activity focused on vehicles creating obstructions on key routes across the city centre, which can disrupt traffic flow and pose safety risks during peak nightlife hours.
The licensing team said: “A joint operation with Merseyside Police on the evening of Saturday 7 March into the early hours of Sunday targeted vehicles causing obstructions across the city centre.”
