London Zoo says thank you to taxi drivers by offering free entry tickets this June
Updated: Jun 7
London Zoo has announced a special gesture of appreciation for the city's hardworking taxi drivers.
In recognition of their dedicated service to London over the past year, the Zoological Society of London (ZSL) is offering free entry to taxi drivers, concierges, and tourist information staff for two weekends in June.
The offer, titled "Voices of London", extends an invitation to these key workers to visit London Zoo free of charge from Friday 14 June to Sunday 16 June and Friday 21 June to Sunday 23 June 2024.
This exclusive event allows them to explore the zoo's vast collection of animals in the scenic surroundings of Regent's Park.
Tickets for this event are limited and must be booked in advance via the zoo’s website. This special offer is restricted to Black Cab drivers, concierges, and tourist information centre staff. To validate the e-tickets, attendees must present appropriate proof of entitlement such as a concierge business card, TIC National Passcard, or black cab driver badge.
Each eligible person can book up to two adult and two child tickets. Importantly, there will be no ticket allocation available at the door, reinforcing the necessity of booking ahead to secure a spot.
For more details and to claim tickets, interested parties should contact the LTDA, UCG, Unite or LCDC for further details.
