Man to appear in court charged with multiple robberies of Essex taxi drivers & possession of a knife

A man will appear in court on Friday charged with seven offences including robbery and possession of a knife.
The 26-year-old man of no fixed address, was arrested in Southend in the early hours of this morning, Thursday 22 October.
He has been charged with:
-Robbery of a taxi driver on 22/08/2020 on Colchester Road, Southend-on-Sea.
-Robbery of a taxi driver on 05/09/2020 on Tickfield Avenue, Southend-on-Sea.
-Attempted robbery of a taxi driver on 06/09/2020 on Palmerston Road, Westcliff-on-Sea.
-Robbery and possession of a bladed article at Station News, High Street, Shoeburyness on 12/09/2020.
-Robbery and possession of a bladed article at Londis, Ronald Park Avenue, Westcliff-on-Sea on 14/10/2020.
He will appear before magistrates in Basildon on Friday 23 October.
