Manchester taxi driver ‘ENGROSSED WITH HIS MOBILE’ reported by police who followed for over a mile

A Manchester taxi driver ‘engrossed with his mobile phone’ has been reported by police officers following the black cab.
Officers from Greater Manchester Police (GMP) Traffic Unit followed the black cab for ‘well over a mile’ on Kearney Road in Radcliffe.
The officer, a sergeant travelling on a fully liveried police motorbike, pulled the cabbie over. The driver has been reported.
A GMP Traffic spokesperson said: “The driver of this vehicle didn’t noticed the #GMPCVU Sgt traveling behind him for well over a mile on a fully liveried Police motorcycle on Kearsley Road, Radcliffe due to being engrossed with his mobile phone.
