Pedestrian injured in taxi collision in Weston-super-Mare: Witnesses and dashcam footage sought
Police authorities are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a collision involving a white taxi that left a pedestrian injured in Weston-super-Mare.
The incident occurred in the West Street area on Friday 18 August, between 3:30 and 4:30pm.
The pedestrian, a man in his 40s, initially did not show any visible signs of injury and left the scene without exchanging details with the taxi driver involved. However, he later realised the extent of his injuries and sought treatment at a local hospital.
CCTV enquiries are currently underway as investigators work to gather more information about the incident. They are particularly hoping to find witnesses who were present at the time of the collision or any motorists who may have captured the incident on their dashboard cameras.
