Nottinghamshire Police are seeking two men after a taxi driver was threatened with a knife during a dispute over fare payment.

Officers responded to reports of an incident on Glasshouse Street in Nottingham around 10.40am on 9 December 2024. According to police, an altercation arose between the driver and two passengers over the fare. During the confrontation, one of the men allegedly produced a knife and threatened the driver.

Investigators have since been reviewing CCTV footage from the area and have now released images of two men they are keen to identify in connection with the incident.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Nottinghamshire Police immediately.

Police Constable Octavia Watson said: “Thankfully, the taxi driver was not hurt but this will have been a frightening ordeal for him to go through as he tried to do his job.

“We believe the two men pictured could have important information about what happened.

“If you know who they are, please get in touch without delay.”
