Police appeal after taxi stolen from Farnborough cab rank

Police are appealing for information after a taxi was stolen in a robbery in Farnborough.
The incident happened at the taxi rank in Union Road, near Farnborough Main railway station, at around 9.55pm on Thursday 28 August.
A man approached a taxi before assaulting the driver and dragging him from the vehicle. The suspect then drove the car away in the direction of Farnborough Road.
The stolen vehicle is a white Peugeot E7, with a registration number beginning SF15. Officers are urging anyone who may have seen the car, or who has dashcam footage from the area at the time, to get in touch.
A Hampshire Police spokesperson said: “We are keen to hear from anyone with information about this incident, particularly if they have seen the vehicle. If you do see it, please report it to us immediately by calling 101 and quoting crime reference number 44250390373. In an emergency, dial 999.”
