Police appeal for witnesses after road rage assault on Plymouth taxi driver

Police in Plymouth are appealing for witnesses and video footage following a road rage assault involving a taxi driver outside High Street Primary School in Stonehouse.
The incident happened at around 3.20pm on Tuesday 24 June. It was reported that the taxi driver was punched in the face, verbally abused, and dragged from his vehicle before being thrown into the road. The victim sustained facial bleeding during the attack.
A man in his 20s from Plymouth was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. He has since been released on police bail while further enquiries continue.
Officers have been investigating the case since it was first reported and are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam or mobile footage to come forward.
